UNICARagil - Meeting of the project partners at IFS

Universities and commercial enterprises work on automated electric vehicles for the mobility of the future

Yesterday and the day before yesterday the consortium meeting of the UNICARagil project took place at the IFS of the University of Stuttgart. After the completion of the concept phase the implementation starts now.
The participants also toasted the start of the predecessor project UNICAR 40 years ago on 01.10.1979, the results of which can be found in many production vehicles today.
Eight German universities and various industrial companies are involved in the BMBF-funded UNICARagil project:

-Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
-Technical University of Braunschweig
-University of Ulm
-University of Passau
-Technical University of Munich
-University of Stuttgart


The topic of the project is "Disruptive modular architecture for agile autonomous vehicle concepts".
